Irreducible, is a term used especially in biochemistry to define the atom of an element whose oxidation number can not be reduced.

The term was also used to define the Indians who would not conform to the rules imposed by the colonizers.

Tañarandy, the place where our journey began art for this film is the translation according to the Guarani, where the heretics Indians took refuge, those who would not be part of the Jesuit missions, the Indians irreducibles.

Irreducible is art for us, is something that can not be classified or defined, is objective, subjective, and all at once, is popular and individual, is worldly and spiritual. Art is preparing a bread in the morning, is painting a picture, child’s play, it is life and death, yet it is nothing of this. It lives in the moment, is a spirit of perfection, but if we try to possess or dominate it gets out and is no more. Art is a constant search.

For this reason, art is for us, irreducible.
